Remember the last time that you went somewhere for the first time? It can be an unnerving experience. Which door is the right one to enter? Where can you find someone to answer your questions? And is it easy to do the thing that you came here to do? Sometimes as youth workers we can become so familiar with our program that we are blinded to the parts that could be more effective. But if we would look at everything as if we are first time guests it can be helpful and revealing. Because as a volunteer there are enormous opportunities for you to help each part of your program be helpful for your core mission. Join Sid, Lisette, and Jer in the first episode of this series all about making the most of every part of your program!
